FACING 80
My plan is to blog each day to keep my mind busy and entertain myself. I will turn 79 shortly and plan to document my 80th year. Life is an adventure. I also hope to start my book as a serial blog on this page, if I figure out how. The title is “ A Funny Thing Happened OnThe Way To The Grave.” These short episodes are mainly for my children but others may enjoy them too. My life as a child, teenager, farmer, nurse, wife, mother and lawyer has given me lots of humorous situations. I’m hoping they continue into my 80s. August 3rd I hope to be up and running, or at least typing.
AND SO IT BEGINS
Day 1 of my 80th year has arrived. I’m not ready for it but it won’t stop. Actually it does not start till sometime this evening when I arrived.
I will try to share what I have learned, what I have forgotten, and what I have experienced in my 28,490 days. WOW! No wonder I’m tired. One thing I’ve learned is to do a google search, must faster than calculating those days including leap years on my own.
Now off to party like it’s 1965
